It is a free download for development purposes – making it possible to develop and test on your desktop using a runtime environment that is identical to the production runtime environment your applications will eventually run on.

Hello, I just downloaded the Websphere Application Server 7 for Developers from the IBM webpage, but when I want to unzip it appears a message asking for a password for the autorun.inf file… Do you have any idea?

Hi Hector, try using your IBM id and password. Release 8.0 has been released – so have a look at that instead of 7.0:

I need Websphere application server version 7. Please provide me any link where i can download v7. V8 is not compatible with my system. It requires Windows xp sp3. I have only sp2. Please help.
