Dojomino: Info and tutorials for using Dojo with Domino

July 2nd, 2007

Lance Spellman has created a site dedicated to using Dojo with Domino. Have a look at dojomino.com. Dojomino was featured in episode 62 of the Taking Notes podcast.

On a similar note: Viktor Krantz has created a post on how to create a sign in form directly on a Domino page using the Dojo toolkit. Very cool!

I am interested in integrating the dojox gantt chart to a Lotus Domino application, both for Lotus Notes clients and for web users. Initially the only thing I want to do is to view the Gantt diagram based on data form a notes documento collection, could be a view. Can you help me? What would be your cost? Time?

    Hi Alejandro

I suggest you take a look at using Dojo charting with XPages. Since Gantt charts in Dojo is part of 1.6 you also need to look at using Dojo 1.6 with your XPages application (see the Mobile Controls project on OpenNTF for inspiration on how to use Dojo 1.6 instead of the default 1.4.3 that comes with the 8.5.2 Domino server).

I can certainly help you if you are interested. My hourly rate is available at PHL Consult. You are welcome to contact me if you need my assistance.
